Rocklee has his taijutsu skill and eight inner gates that we've seen currently In the manga
Gaara has no demon and has all abilities we have seen him use to the most current point in the story.
Location: The meadow field they fought Kimimaru in.

Easy Gaara , with Eight Gates Lee I dont think he can crush/break Gaara's ultimate defense let alone beat him.

Gaara destroys Lee with low difficulty. His sand is much much faster now and his control over it has improved exponentially. The durability of his sand defence has also increased exponentially. A crazy Gaara without much sand to work with already beat 5 gates Lee.

Lee hasn't shown the use of anything stronger than 5 gates so his reverse lotus will be easily tanked by Gaara. It is to be expected that Lee has greater strength, speed and stamina but the difference in power between Shippuden Lee and part 1 Lee is barely minimal. On the other hand, Gaara's power scaling has been much more drastic kind of like Naruto and Sasuke.

I don't even think Lee can bypass Gaara's initial defence let alone sand armour.

Gaara low difficulty. He can simply create a sand clon in order to catch lee. His sand shield and reaction time are much better now. Lee with 5 gates didn't even break part 1 sand shield,and Gaara has improved a lot more.

no..hes not stronger and faster than a being who fought kages toe to toe, surpassed his own bijuu in sand strength and reacted to V2 A's kick.
