Considering it took two jinchuuriki and two high level Jonin to knock it down, I'd say Choji and Choza did well. Could Shikamaru and his Dad do as well or, anyone else in the Konoha 11 and their parent for that matter? Choji is physically the strongest in K11 so how can he be fodder.

The Ino-Shiko-Cho formation was said to be the most feared combo in the village, it's been passed down through generations of the families and you're comparing the skills of teenagers to fully grown adults who most of which, had military and battlefield experience(much more so than 3 teenagers)

Ino may not be the strongest but her mind transfer ability is really nice. She can even use it against powerful foes as a kyuubi-possessed Ginkaku/Kinkaku. Naruto never was all about brute strength - wits and teamwork is more powerful

Of all the K11 I understand Ino but not Choji. Doesn't he get some amazing powerup in the war? (I don't read ahead of the anime). Ino is very useless though, she literally did one thing in the Hidan and Kakuzu battle. She threw some shurikens at Kakuzu and misses, then Kakuzu just extends his arm and grabs her neck. If Kakashi wasn't there they would have died in 30secs.
