[Discussion] Why do people think that being a virgin is a bad thing?

I see this all the time. People constantly saying "I smell a virgin", or something stupid like that. Is it because they're jealous that someone still has it? Or is it some sad attempt to try and make someone feel bad?

It's just stupid. I mean really? It's like the "kitchen" jokes (which I hate with an unquenchable hatred); if someone still has their virginity (and old enough to lose it), they should be applauded instead...especially in this world.

There's nothing wrong with being a virgin (unless you're like 30). People typically make virgin jokes when somebody makes outlandish sexual comments about themselves and their own prowess.

I see nothing wrong with being a virgin. It's their choice, and if people say that over the internet than that's especially wrong, since we don't know each other.

And I also hate the kitchen jokes. I remember a member told me to get into the kitchen, took all I had not to flame him, since I remembered it was only internet talk. xd

In real life, it shouldnt matter imho.
On the internet, people call others virgins if they:

1. Dont get a *** joke
2. Over react to something sexual

Another thing about calling someone a virgin over the internet is supposed to auto include them being nerdy losers. At least, this is how it is from what i've seen and interpreted.
