Gaara vs Hidan and Gaara vs Kisame

I've been thinking....

Isn't Gaara Hidan's worst nighmare?
Hidan needs Gaara's blood to do anything really. How is he gonna get that?
I believe Gaara even in part 1 could beat Hidan(a S rank) in a 1 on 1 match. No advantages or disadvantages for either side.
tell me what you think for Gaara(part 1) vs Hidan
and also the more obvious current Gaara vs Hidan

Also isn't Kisame a bad match-up against Gaara too?
wouldn't Kisame have nothing to get around Gaara's sand?
Although I feel like this match-up would be harder tell me what you think for

Gaara vs Kisame -- kisame can make massive amounts of water I think he could over take gaara and if your fighting kisame and dont have something to end it fast your going to lose due to exhaustion

wouldn't gaara still be able to move his sand even if submerged?I think It would just be slower
I think kisame's best chance would be to instantly make a water dome.
But thats still not certain as gaara can still move at considerable speeds in the water using his sand(enough not to be a complete sitting duck, well at least I think).
I don't think kisame is fast enough, or has piercing moves (at least that I can think of) that can deal with gaara's instant defense
Also what's stopping gaara from catching kisame in his sand?
Also gaara has a 5 in stamina(on data books) so if the fight was to happen he could at least last for a while, possibly enough time to catch kisame in his sand.

I just thought that this was a interesting match-up, because I think gaara has such a interesting fighting style
he sometimes has severe advantages or disadvantages on different character, even more so then most "conventional" characters.

Yeah I agree about the Hidan part since it seems Gaara's his worst match up. As for Kisame, I think you got the roles reversed, Gaara's practically proven weak against water, Gaara has literally no way to do anything against Kisame.

Gaara vs Hidan was pretty much explained above, but as for Gaara vs Kisame it's a way closer match, I'd even say that Kisame would win. For starters, water makes sand heavier, if you go to the beach you could test this natural phenomenon lol so Gaara would have to put a lot more effort into manipulating it. Kisame can also absorb the chakra from Gaara's sand a la Giant Shark Missile or Samehada, and of course he's not a slacker when it comes to speed so he could just avoid the smaller scale attacks. Gaara himself would have trouble defending against water shark spam and Water Dome.

gaara vs hidan is easy for gaara. Gaara vs kisame is still gaara. Water does nothing to gaara,he hid his sand inside mei's water dragon technique and still caught madara easily,all of kisame's water attacks will be absorbed by the sand which gaara can still use,if kisame does a water dome,gaara can just flood it with sand which he can still use to attack kisame and also kisame wont be able to breathe anymore,gaara can also levitate out of there with his sand as well,so kisame will have to dissipate the dome,then gaara can finish him off with sand tsunami or drop a pyramid on him.

Is it really fair to claim that Hidan can't take p1 Gaara? His taijutsu was able to keep Kakashi on the ropes, and Kakashi has a more advanced sharingan than Sasuke used to fight Gaara in the chuunin exams.

Although p1 goes all the way through the SRA and I don't see how Hidan would fight SRA Gaara, Kimimaro was hella fast and had jounin-level data for speed, but he couldnt hope to escape being trapped by the sand repeatedly (and Hidan has no bone armor.)

Sink hole beats Hidan whenever.

As for Kisame, everyone should really take a step back and stop trying to claim "Water makes sand useless" or "sand absorbs all available water" and try to acctually incoorperate either one's movesets. They are both heavy-hitting element users with crazy chakra, so acctually go through their jutsu and imagine counters.

EDIT: LOL as long as Kisame doesn't try THIS against Gaara

His intelligence is about on par with Gaara. Kisame can easily outlast Gaaras. Gaaras chakra levels are above average but Kisame has tailed beast levels.

If Kisames fuses with Samedah thats game over. He can water dome and asorb all the chakra in Gaaras sand.

Gaara has 0 chances beating Kisame. Even if Gaara tries to crush him with sand. Kisame was tanking 6 gate Gai with 30 percent of his chakra. Sand aint doing shi.

kabuto is hidans worst matchup IMO. edo tenseis dont bleed. at all. and kabuto aint getting hit by any of his attacks.
