Amaterasu has yet to kill anybody, so we can underhype it all we want.

Itachi can't sustain Susano'o. Jiraiya in Sage Mode basically has infinite energy.

Of course he will do this way easier against Itachi, who is faster and smarter than him, is using powerful Genjutsus, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo and can thus even control Jiraiyas summons and turn them against Jiraiya himself.

If the talk is about Itachi, hate arises. They try to downplay Itachis abilities by saying that he would beat anyone by our logic if we demanding arguments for their claim. Sure Itachis Genjutsus can't one shot anyone but so Jiraiyas techniques can't. This would be just the same argument.

Its fun watching people get caught in lies. Itachi has 2 more points in genjutsu, .5 in intelligence, jiraiya has 1 more point in strength, .5 less in speed, 2.5 more in stamina, and .5 less in hand seals. They're major differences is just genjutsu and stamina.

Notice how Itachi and Kisame kept on saying "sannin, sannin". They were afraid of his hype, not him. When Itachi was running away from the toad mouth trap he could have turned around and one shotted him, but he never. So shhh. Itachi > Jiraiya.​
