Orochimaru and snake sage mode

Recently I had a debate with a fellow about whether or not Orochimaru is capable of using sage mode as taught by the Sage of White Snake at Ryuchidou. I believe he does because he comments that his Senjutsu chakra was poured into Anko's curse mark.

As we know Senjutsu is the combination of your internal chakra (formed by combining spiritual energy and physical stamina) and nature energy.

View each link and read those pages. With what is known about sage mode I believe that Orochimaru definatley can use it. Just not perfectly as Kabuto says. The manga doesn't say directly that Orochimaru is a "sage" but it does directly imply his use of Senjutsu chakra which he would have had to be trained in using. The reason he could not perfect it is because he lacked the ability to continuously absorb nature energy as Juugo and his clan can.

Also Kabuto says Oro couldn't become a true sage. So like Jiraiya they had imperfect sage modes.

How many agree that Orochimaru is capable of using an imperfect sage mode?

its possible he was able to take in Senjutsu and use it a little i.e. for CM, while never being able to utilize it enough to achieve D. Sage Mode.

Hmmm, I don't think he has it. Didn't Kabuto say he surpassed Orochimaru because of his Edos and Sage mode.

Kabuto did say that he surpassed him but also that Oro wasn't a "true" sage.

I believe that he is implying that Oro could use Sage mode to an extent.

This was really interesting. So at the very least he is capable of manipulating Senjutsu chakra. He was close but no cigar. Thanks for the link dudenstein.

It said right in the manga that Ororchimaru couldn't use the sage form, because his body couldn't take it. So he probably does know how to do it, but he needs a body that is capable of it. Because the only reason why naruto can do it, is because he is a uzumaki and posseses a ton of chakra.
