The Dragon isn't going through massive objects like the ground but rebounds against it.

Above that the Souldragon leaves Nagato crippled, this attack is a K.O. for Nagato as well.

Can it go through Solid chakra in the form of Susanoo? Who knows technically it went through the victims chakra network and stole there soul but thats a very pathetic way of looking at it and is not real proof but no one really knows is the main point im trying to get across

It took out the peoples souls by touching them, as clearly seen. Sure, it isn't a solid object but can't still go through objects; water as a non solid material can't also. And this was rather shown when the Dragon smashed against the ground instead of going through it. So where is the safe, that it would go through Susanoo, which consists out of materialized Chakra in form of a skeleton, muscles and an armor? There is no evidence to believe in this. And the Soul Dragon is Nagatos K.O. as well, it ruined his body and leaved him crippled for the rest of his life.

There are no counters to Gedo Mazo, that's the thing. Itachi cannot counter Chibaku Tensei, nor can he prevent himself from being pulled out of Susanoo with Banshou Tenin. The same Susanoo which can be devoured by Preta Path. Or the same Susanoo which can have the Sword of Totsuka and the Yata Mirror, which are not permanently connected to Susanoo, pulled off with a Banshou Tenin.

The gedo mazo left Nagato chakra exhausted, it was Hanzo that crippled him.

Gaara is able to pull Madara out of susanoo, bansho tennin could do the same.

It all depends on what Nagato were on about if were pitting a Teenage Nagato with Gedo Mazo vs Itachi i believe Nagato would find it much more difficult no summons,No CTB a very mild Shinra Tensei if it can be called that but it should be obvious Nagato Complete flying around would defeat anyone probabaly even the sages son probably not the sage with that haxxed creation of all things sad jutsu
