also, i dont mean we should get claws, tails, etc., etc., i just want to know if people think we can get better, faster, stronger, or has mankind seen its peak.

I don't think so, thats a very hard question to answer.. there has probably been lots of research done on questions like these.

first of all I'm guessing your a kid or a highly uneducated adult because our intelligence if far from 'diminishing', in fact, we are becoming more and more educated, living longer and gaining a better standard of living. This does not only apply to North America, but to the world as a whole.
Secondly, our intelligence puts us far above other species, so far that we don't need claws or fairy feathers or tails or whatever crap you're thinking of. Every animal in the kingdom fears humans, we are by far the top predators and thats all because of our brains. And if, lets say, we didn't have our brains, THEN you would see humans with sharper teeth and all that stuff because animals and humans alike evolve to adapt to their surroundings. Some scientist believe in 1000's of years the pinky toe will be gone because humans have little use for it, this will happen slowly through evolution.

Then you've ultimately defeated the purpose of making your account, you've only succeeded in making yourself stupid.

More knowledgeable doesn't mean more intelligent, take Greek philosophers as an example.

Another thing animals fearing us ? Wow, we're able to trump them simply because of communication and the formulating of our ideas, yes compared to animals we are geniuses.

In general, your a self-absorbed idiot who most likely treats animals badly due to them being inferior and assume your superior to other people due to your "better opinions".

there has always been bad people. People have become more civilized but there will always be work to do. Don't lose faith in humanity, instead of hating others, show them the way you would like the world to be through your actions (hold doors open, be kind, work hard).. people will follow in your footsteps, and it will lead to a better tomorrow. You can make a big difference, try channelling the hate into something constructive.

Hmmm~
I'd say as I've read in a book that we might change in a way which would be advantageous for us to become either smarter and/or tougher.
With all the pollution going on, I've even read about scientist saying our noses could become larger(for filtering polluted air) and our ears somehow being able to close out sound, so as to avoid all the noise from all around us(mechanical and such), or so they think, yet it's creative thinking at most since they aren't seeing but predicting the possible future and what we might need to adapt to.

I personally don't know myself as I'm not able to peek into the future, but seeing as how we and other animal have evolved since long ago, I don't think it'll be stopping or reaching a so called 'top', just what's best in the environment we live in.
However, seeing as how the world is almost all mad, I guess us wiping ourselves out before anything of that happens is quite likely.

As time goes on i can see us getting physically weaker and weaker as we will depend more and more on technology.

If we really wanted to push ourselves and our bodys, we can be quite good physically and might compare to some other animals in Speed/Strength.

I don't think we've even begun to reach our Limits, we hold ourselves back.
I doubt we ever will reach our limits because of technology.
