im thinking maybe 1700's maybe, the french revolution, just cos they did still use swords occassionally, even though there were guns, and also they Napoleon had an awesome cape and hat combo... that is the way to die in STYLE!
Lol you would do it for fashion wouldn't you. Personally i would be better off in a whole bunch of different settings than i am now, i have real talent for mythology and culture that is no longer present. I would probably chose anything from ancient culture to WWII.
There is just so much that i would prefer in living back then, albeit no computers or half as much knowledge as today, there is so many things about life before steam (yes the power source and games engine) that makes it so attractive to me.
Can you just imagine standing amongst 1000's of other men, in neat little lines as arrows are fired overhead, horses bigger than 2 men charge at you, and all you hold is a piece of metal and a wooden shield. Seems so much more romantic to me than sitting at home with a screen in front of you reading a manga that emulates how amazing the past was.
