What exactly is Ramadan?

its a month of worship to Muslims when they fast from sunrise to sunset...that means you can't eat,drink , have ***, look at nudity(such as ur sig,lol),can't curse and just try to avoid every bad thing till sunset when we break our fasting with sweets called Tamr...i think that summs it up>

have been waiting for it since the last one ended....

this is going to be very exciting....InshAllah i will finish Quran this month full...though i'd love to finish it twice but my speed now is kind of low...

and i will only go to Tarawih only if my Dad goes with me...i dont like to go alone...
also will be preparing for Maths every hour after Prayer...

my fast will start from 3.30 - 7-30 roughly ... which is like 16 hours... [yes i am also from Pakistan] ^^
make sure you eat yogurt...it prevents you from getting thirsty...

last month i left only 4 days and fasted the rest of the month...InshAllah this month we all will fast 30 days...
btw....im still curious...its not bad to listen to music in Ramadan is it??

What exactly is Ramadan?

Its basically when people fast during the month of ramazan,from dawn till sunset.They do not perform any sinfull acts like swearing,adultry,etc.It is a test of patience and tolerence for muslims who show their obediance and love for Allah,by controling their hunger.Fasting also makes people understand the importance of the things,that we take for free that Alllah has given us.Such as food and water.

i agree eating yogurt does prevent from getting thirsty.In pakistan the fast will be for about 15 hours and judging from the weather,it will be an testing Ramadan for muslims.
