[Theory] i know it sounds silly but what if orochimaru becomes good in a shocking twist

just a thought but yeah what if orochimaru becomes good and maybe helps sasuke come up with a way to possibly stop madara and possibly tobi not only that but imagine if although he said he doesn't want to be involved in the war once he realises that the 5 kage which includes his former friend and former sannin member tsunade and decides that he wants to help them but i don't know.

It's possible. If he helps out with the war effort at all, it's more likely he'll be doing it for his own self interests. He wouldn't want to be caught in the Moon's Eye Plan.

You have to remember that Oro's goals go completely against Madara's and Tobi's. So it is very possible that he could fight against Madara and Tobi and not actually turn good. The enemy of my enemy so to speak. If Tobi and Madara are successful that would be the end of everyone's free will including Oro's so he has a vested interest in stopping them.

It wouldn't suprise me if he did something to help against Tobi and Madara. But he will never be good. If he helped defeat Tobi or Madara in some way then it would only be because he wants to take over the world himself later.....

Konoha would never forgive Orochimaru. Only reason he could help was if the good guys needed him desperately and he agreed for his own reasons which is an unlikely scenario. He will never turn good, it wouldn't make sense and be really silly
