Your post makes the most sense to me. I mean why build up the suspense on some unknown jutsu if it is not all that powerful. Hell Jiraiya even told Naruto not to use it on Akasuki just for the reason that he was afraid of what the jutsu could do.

So I think that Minato, Jiraiya, and Naruto are on the something with THAT JUTSU. I am thinking that it is some ancient fuinjutsu(which seems to be all of Minato's most powrful jutsus) mixed with Minato & Jiraiya genius, worked out by Naruto's wittyness and hardwork, and will be fininshed by one of the last Uzamaki Clan members who once again like Rikudo Sennin(Uzamaki) had to defeat and seal the Juubi.

no he didnt. we dont know how many he supressed but he didnt get kyuubi. mito did. and he has probably the least shot out of anyone in top 10. jinton users and edo users and koto users only. anyone else can go home and die
