Sorry, but anybody that is "kage" level but dies to 20 elite fodder ninja will NEVER be ranked in a top 5, let alone be in the same ball park power wise as hashirama.

i believe that tobirama was mainly a space-time user

and as for edo tensei i don't know why people try to downplay his version
think about it which clan had the most powerful ninjas during tobirama's time - the senju clan his own clan, getting dna samples is no issue and as for living sacrifices tobirama could easily use prisoners of war as there was always war during his lifetime

and a few jounin level shinobis who are immortal with limitless chakra can take down a large number of enemies and also much stronger enemies

however i don't think he used edo tensei for long cause he marked it as a kinjutsu and if he had used it he would never have died fighting the kinkaku force.

if they are an elite unit and probably have team jutsu's like any other team units and anbu it is okay to lose you are out numbered by elite skilled ninja.
