Both are Top Tier, so it would come down to circumstance (Knowledge or Plot). I think both had some knowledge of each other since both were well known and famous ninja, however nether has shown any detailed knowledge of each other, so I can see it going ether way, but I lean towards a draw. The reason I lean towards a draw is because when Hiruzen was questioning his ability to defeat Orochimaru, Anko wished Minato were still alive to protect the village, but Hiruzen said to leave Minato in peace since he already died once for the village. That scene suggests to me that Minato would successfully protect the village from Orochimaru, but probably resort to Shiki Fuujin to win and die shortly after sealing Orochimaru.

Shiki Fuujin is also the Jutsu that Orochimaru lacked knowledge on and Hiruzen used it to nearly defeat Orochimaru saving the village. Hiruzen failed to outright seal Orochimaru, but the Data-book implies Hiruzen would have succeeded in sealing Orochimaru if he wasn't so handicapped by age, so I'd expect the younger Minato to be able to pull this off.

Post-Hiruzen fight Orochimaru has gained knowledge on Shiki Fuujin and I could see him studying up on it even more afterwards, so he might have the knowledge advantage than. However at that point in the manga he's handicapped by his arms being sealed in death god, so I can't see him winning against Minato in a handicapped state even with the knowledge advantage.

What the Plot would dictate would depend on when the battle happened. If it happened before the night of the Kyuubi attack, than Minato would probably win since he has to survive to seal the Kyuubi. This also makes sense since Orochimaru probably was not as strong back then as he is in Part I. If Minato somehow survived Kurama's sealing and was in Hiruzen's position in Part I, the plot would probably dictate that Minato succeeds in saving the village, so he'd seal Orochimaru with Shiki Fuujin at the cost of his life ending the battle in a draw. However since Orochimaru has to survive somehow Kabuto would probably revive him from a Curse Seal.

oros immune to everything except seals and he can just use formation of ten thousand snakes and manda to beat toads, and hydra to guard against rasengan. leech all creation will turn oro intangible, and he can get rid of markings with body shedding.

oro wins,rasengan wont hurt him,heck armless oro took tsunade's punches like nothing,he has hydra mode + multiple jutsus to handle mnato.he is also smart and will catch on to his FTG techs,he can also use a shadow clone to help him as well as his multiple snake abilities give oro the win. The only thing minato can do to kill him is shiki fujin but oro knows abt it now so he cud counter.

Damn man, I used to think that Minato would stomp effortlessly. With last chapter, healthy Orochimaru? We can only guess, but a supported logical statement with an actual base is perfectly acceptable I think Minato would be damn near screwed here.

Minato charges at Orochimaru with the same speed which he used to catch baby Naruto and run up a wall, with something like that Orochimaru won't have time to form hand seals, he can evade normal snake attacks(Hidden Shadow Snake Hands and Many Hidden Shadow Snake hands which don't require seals then get a kunai close to him(1 metre is enough), Rasengan him(even Tobi couldn't go intangible in time and Raikage couldn't move), mark and contract seal(he knows about snakes as Orochimaru is famous for it and once again even Tobi couldn't go intangible in time). Orochimaru will survive the attack but will be marked and won't know that he is marked(a ninja as cautious as Tobi who knew everything about Minato's fighting style didn't realise he was already marked till it was too late). Minato will teleport to that marking and cut him into two or blow him to pieces with a explosive note(one explosive note blast was big enough to take First Hokage's leg and part of his hand) before Orochimaru can join back together or vomit himself, Minato can seal him with the Eight Trigrams Seal into himself(seal he used to seal the mighty Kurama into Naruto)
Complications that may occur include---Orochimaru managing to summon Manda. MInato can evade Manda with the Flying Thunder God Technique then summon Bunta to sit on his head(Food Cart Destroyer Technique) and stab said head, killing it.

Orochimaru managing to use the Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes(spitting ten thousand snakes from his mouth) easily countered by using a space time barrier to warp all the snakes elsewhere then closing the distance on Oro and doing what I explained above.

Solution-Snake is pretty slow as it was moving at the same pace as a weakened, injured-in-one-leg, fatally sick Uchiha Itachi as they moved towards one another so taking advantage of this, Minato can have Bunta use the Toad Sword Slash and the Water Gun Technique on its heads while defending Bunta by using a Space Time Barrier to sheild him on all sides when necessary, the Food Cart Destroyer(sitting on it to immobilize it) for Minato to use the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style to seal it within himself or an object as the Databook stipulates.

Solution- teleport away but leave a kunai behind so that the kunai will be near Orochimaru then do what I explained above.

Solution- use insane foot speed to go behind him while he's doing this(the wind only affects things in front of him) then do what I explained above.

Solution- evade them with insane foot speed and the Flying Thunder God Technique then attack their summoner and do what I explained above.
