[Discussion] Why Hashirama was considered so strong?

Here we can talk about Hashirama and his powers. Why he was considered so strong? why was he repected by all shinobi? why he was said to be the strongest, according to kabuto no one is on his level anymore, madara is talking about his powers all the time.

not without reason i think. so what can you tell about hashirama? your opinions, what you think, and so on.

Well since someone as strong as Madara is always talking about him and clearley has tremendous respect for him i think that he has to be as strong as he is perceived to be....... unless Madara is just BS'ing. ( Not likley )

He probably has more than this as we haven't seen him that much but from what we do know, he had a very powerful kekkai genkai (wood style), he had insane chakra reserves and a powerful physical energy so probably had physical strength equal to or above Tsunade's (so you wouldn't want to take a direct punch from him) and to top it all off, had an OP healing technique like Tsunade's byakugou

Also he has that ability to suppress and control tailed beast chakra

I dont even think it has anything to do with him being extra strong. I just think hashirama has soooo much darn chakra that madara got tired out. What can you do against a guy that keeps comin back for more? remember neji vs naruto. come on naruto should have lost, but because for some reason, naruto just wouldn fall, neji was defeated. Pain naruto. Again, naruto for some reason , never gets tired! you cant beat someone who doesn stop comin at you!

the only way he beat madara and stole his kyuubi, is that he used his own tailed beasts he collected...(as tobi said), yamato also said that hashirama was made hokage because his ability to control jinchuurikis and tailed beasts...so thats the way why he is considered on so6p level, the tailed beasts...
