Hashirama is better then Edo Madara (proof)

Madara knows his strength, and still admitted that hashirama could take him down. Currently in the manga, until stated otherwise, hashirama stronger then edo madara just by what madara has stated. I find no reason to not believe this.

Edo madara is by far more powerful however we haven't really seen hashirama so we can't assume anything but for now edo madara>hashirama.

Not necessarily. Even if he cuts Shika, shadow bind prevents him from doing anything. Just like Shikamaru stopped him from killing Asuma.
