Nagato fighting along side Pain?

Im talking about Edo Nagato, or just Nagato before being crippled. Is it possible for him to fight along side the 6 paths?

the point of the 6 path's is that the main body dosnt get attacked and stay's out of danger

I wonderd this to controling 6 things at once plus all their techs it's got to take some serious concentration. How could you be doing battle and controling all of them properly at the same time. it seems impossible even for someone with brains like shikamru it would be impossible. this is all my just my thoughts on it.

it would be smarter for him to fight with just the six paths because he me be in the line of fire and i think he needs those poles that go in his back to control them so that would limit his mobility

I guess I have to agree. But isn't having to deal with 6 separate (but linked) enemies, a more difficult task?

I'm pretty much in agreement here. I could've sworn I read that he can't use his techniques AND have Pein use them at the same time.

You do understand that Pain is just an extension of Nagato, correct? Was that hard to read as well?
