popcorn ready , for a start , the only thing itachi can do to nagato is use genjutsu,but then again nagato has bijuu amounts of chakra and could probably break out of any genjutsu bar izanami , which takes time to prepare , whereas nagato is the ultimate ninjutsu master , and could easily take out all the chakra used in susanoo , which means free chaka for him and itachi is already half way through his chakra , basically its a battle of endurance , which nagato easily wins , btw thread maker , you just created WWIII

I watched the video part where Nagato uses a CT and he used the CT from Naruto vs Pain where Nagato was using Deva Path and was exhausted... in reality it would be MUCH bigger. The video also completely made Itachi's chakra reserves that of Sasuke's... which it's not. Let's also not forget the video is fan made, lol.

nagato can sense when itachi will use amaterasu, nagato can make that rain of his and fight with his eyes closed( counter for tsukuyomi) and sense where itachi is, itachi doesn't have a counter for shinra tensei unless his susano'o prevents him from flying but a chou shinra tensei might do the trick, he can use CT, itachi most definetly can't counter that and nagato has many summons and can fly, and itachi can't keep his susano'o forever, and we still don't know the full force of the paths in nagat since naruto said nagato's attacks were stronger and faster, but he barely used them, so definatly, no. but itachi can put up a fight. i would say itachi has like 30% of winning.

edit: i forgot gedou mazou, with that nagato's chances increases.

Itachi can definitely defeat Nagato, here's a video so you guys can see where I'm coming from. His intelligence prevails. This video is what I think Itachi and Nagato would go like. Itachi can take care of Nagato with Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu, and his intelligence is to be feared. Also most of Pain's arsenal can be taken care of with Susano'o. Here you are;
