When the key to unlock the ems is, to take the eyes of your brother then WHY didn´t Madara and Izuna just changed their eyes. Izuna takes Madaras eyes and Madara takes Izunas eyes. So both would have the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.
Would that be possible? And make more sense?

i realized that. of course the had to chance the eyed before they were useless.
