Kidding but serious question I watched itachi vs sasuke and saw that itachi's had lost all their color and was grey so doesn't that mean he had lost his light? But what confuses me is that the same thing happened to sasuke as we saw after his confrontation with team 7 after he fought danzo so how did fusing 2 lightless mangekyo sharingons give sasuke a perfectly fine shine ems note that this thread will only make sense if having grey eyes after repeated use of mangekyo sharingon means your sight is gone

its said the prolong use of mangekyou seals the light and vision of the eyes, so i am guessing that finding a new host(having somwhat same dna) viz his brother would unseal the seal thats effecting the vision

Itachi's eyes weren't blind, his Susano disappeared at the last moment of his life, meaning Itachi's eyes were still somewhat fine. Two completly blind MS are useless. Why do you think Izuna stayed blind after he gave his eyes to his brother? Because Madara's eyes had no use, so once the MS hit the complete blindness state, there's no comeback, even if you trasplant it to someone else.
