Can sasori defeat kisame?

This can go either side. Overall i would go with Kisame, but most of u underestimate Sasori, just because Kishi let him fight to the person who thaught him his puppet technique, old lady Chijo.
One scratch is a limited time for Kisame to beat Sasori for a draw. But i think Kisame is able to make some of Sasori's ultimate puppets like the third Kazekage powerless, by absorbing the chakra threads between them with Samehade.
On the other hand Sasori has the 100 puppet technique with all of them poisoned, he surely can get one scratch.

So can Sasori defeat Kisame? Yes he can.
Can Kisame defeat Sasori? Yes he can.
Can Sakura defeat Sasori? Hell no. It's all because old lady Chijo.

This. And neither sakura, nor chiyo alone would have one. Together though, they were the perfect counter to sasori.

3 if u don't know his secret (the heart scroll in his heart) u can't kill him
4 he never let his guard down

1 a short - mid range fighter
2 samehada won't work if the opponent is long range
3 he's no intelligent enough to reveal all his secrets

Even with samehada I think.sasori takes this high diff, he doesnt even need to land a hit it too depend on how long kisame can hold his breath, and the kazekage and his puppet army, r a bad match up for kisame.

I see sasori taking this if asuma was able scratch kisame on the cheek you think sasori wouldn't be able to do the same , the effects of the poison would drop kisame in mins.

i believe he can kisame is strong af but sasori is a great match just one hit on kisame and its game over even if he uses the big water bubble and fuses with samehada sasori doesnt move and he just fills the water bubble with his poison if that gets in kisames gills its a wrap

People don't forget that when fused with Samehada, Kisame absorbs chakra by making skin contact with it.

...And puppet masters like Sasori have exposed Chakra strings almost all of the time. If Sasori is smart he should stick to using his own body (or maybe 3rd Kazekage as it invloves manipulating less strings.)

I'm a Sasori fan but i must admit that it's a bad match up for him, Kisame would win because he'll put the battlefield in his advantage, water dome and big suiton attack,he'll just absorb all of thing that touch the water or enar him.
