[Discussion] can rinnegan users change back to there normal eyes? Do they go blind like itachi?

ive never seen anyone change back there rennigan

(sorry for my earlier thread about the rinnegan sign, moments of stupidity come every once in a while)

Well that's because we've only seen Nagato use it properly and since he's a non-uchiha like Kakashi, he can't deactivate them

Whereas, Madara can most likely

if you mean can they switch between eyes then yes, Madara can switch between normal eyes, sharingan, and rinnegan

same reason as already stated, like kakashi not uchiha and they stay on.... tobi is not uchiha..

Nagato = No
Madara = Yes
Tobi = No because it was implanted. We don't know about his sharingan.... he hasn't changed out of it - he might not even be an Uchiha!

I think Madara can. His eyes were not implanted, and if EMS can revert back, I would assume a Rinnegan can, especially if Rinnegan can go back to Sharingan.

If there eyes are Implanted they can't switched them back unless there a Uchiha

i don't think that you become blind...this is in my opinion a huge advantage of rinnegan the ultimate dojutsu and you can see chakra flow like a byakugan or make genjutsu and use very powerfull jutsu like shinra tensei (think of healthy nagato doing shinra tensei himself not by a puppet. it would destroy whole konoha!)

from what we know, it is possible that madara is the only character we have seen that that has awakened the rinnegan naturally. tobi implanted one and it is still unsure how nagato recieved his

Nagato had it since he was maybe even younger than 10, and his vision is great so I just assume it permanent if your born with it or awaken it or something. Madara used uchihax to pull that eye outta his ******* then took the shit stained eye and placed it into his socket, so he can switch between sharingan and rinnegan
