but if his cells could have formed a physical shape, he could have done that when sasuke's vessel arrived a little late. He could have waited for some time instead of taking over Genyumaru and wait for 3 years

I think this is his own body... Jugo's ability allows him to assimilate other people's body mass and grow (somewhat like Cell from DBZ???) and to that mass he introduces his own chakra so it become his own body. Basically he did something like that now and to it he added Oro's Chakra...

A good point, but i think he formed his initial body by Kabuto's (actually his) body part and used his own chakra stored in Anko to come out and then he took all his chakra from Kabuto to maintain that shape.

i think its just his own chakra that was used and his own chakra that he took from kabuto

I think he is using some kind of clone body. Jugo took a piece of flesh from Kabuto and mixed it with anko's seal . . . . Jugo probably used his bio powers to from a body out of that flesh and then orochimaru took control.

From the explanations I'm guessing that a clone using Kabuto's and Oro's DNA was made (something like the clone of Hashirama that tobi had created) and oro took control of that body

Juugo obtained some of Kabutos body and placed it on Anko.

So im assuming when sasuke pulled out the snake from ankos curse mark that was Oro, then from the skin from Kabuto he was able to manifest it somehow into a body.

good find, i suppose hes using his actual body at the moment, considering it took oro's actual dna to reconstitute himself, then he assimilated the more of his own chakras from kabuto, possibly to strengthen his current state. but what troubles me is why go through the whole process of body switching if he can just implant his chakras in random hosts, put them on ice, and have juugo/kabuto revive him with his own dna when required , as long as his mind/soul remained unsealed i dont see why this would be less convenient than trying to find a new body every 3 years, unless his body as it is cannot sustain itself for an extended period of time, which would make sense but beg to question when exactly will it reach its limit

And he can't be without a body coz that way he is in his white snake form(the one we saw when sasuke took over orochimaru).

Orochimaru is using his OWN body.

The bold part is something i don't understand.
I guess this is one of those questions that will remain unanswered, unless kishi reveals it. Something i really doubt that he will do

But I'll ask this, if he could somehow RECREATE his own body with his DNA, why was there a need to switch bodies??
he could just keep aside a sample of his own DNA and when his current body grew old, Create a new one. Way easier than finding a new body every 3 years

From what we've seen Oro's chakra seems to carry his consciousness, because as we heard earlier, it was said his chakra was trying to take over kabuto. He simply used the sample of his dna jugo gave him as a catalyst to take his form again.
