He says his senjutsu (sage mode) chakra was poured into anko's seal..So Oro was a Snake Sage?? I'm a bit confused if I'm reading that wrong.

I was thinking the same. That means Kabuto didn't know quite everything about Oro and that Oro had managed to complete the White snakes training.

I think everyone has "natural energy" that they just can't tap into, unless they're a Sage. As for Orochimaru, he isn't. His body couldn't handle the training at Ryuchi Cave.

I don't think so. Pa clearly said that you need to gather natural energy, it isn't just "present" in one's body.

I think that he means the Senjutsu chakra he got from Juugo. His cursed seal is derived from Senjutsu, so this does not mean he mastered Dragon Sage Mode. Orochimaru was more worried about dealing with Akatsuki, finding potential bodies, and breaking the Reaper Death Seal. Dragon Sage Mode would take time, training, and would reap few benefits for him due to him having to switch bodies every three years. Immortality (Extending the time of his bodies) comes first. So Kabuto > Orochimaru in brawn.

I think I did hear about a legend of Orochi being reborn through a young man after Susanoo beheaded him...Later he becomes more powerful and three legendary heroes (Sasuke, Naruto, and Kabuto?) take him down. Though I do not know how much of this would be mixed with King of Fighters. I'll need to look it up. >_>

Kabuto said Oro was a sage before he went into that mode, he said that he perfected it better than Oro

the fact is, kabuto needed oro's dna to use the sennin mode at all...
There is definitly a link between oro and sennin mode...he may have HAD it, but never MASTERED IT...because kabuto never said he didnt have it...but just that he never MASTERED it

yes Oro was a sage but not complete as stated by Kabuto... only that Kabuto completed it by going to d grand master white snake himself to become a complete dragon sage. that is y he had d ability to draw nature chakra and gain d dragon horns as well as well as d other abilities like shutting his eye lid and d rasengan type of jutsu.

Well Orochimaru's sage mode was probably like Jiraiya's in terms of completion of the Sage Mode. Just how Naruto has mastered Sage Mode over Jiraiya, Kabuto has his over Orochimaru.

not in the traditional sense, oro's senjutsu comes from his study of the juugo clan ability to naturally absorb nature chakra and his application of that knowledge into the curse seals along with his own chakras, but he never underwent sage training at ryuchi cave like kabuto
