What happens if you get +/- repped by a -rep user

So yeah...what happens if someone has a red bar - negative rep, and they decide to negative rep you, or +rep you...?

+- = - so if they plus rep u you get rep taken off?
negative repper giving neg rep [--] = +, so then u get +rep if they neg rep u?

only kidding, but srs what happens...?
would it just be like too low to effect you?

also, if u get low enough repped do u get banned? - i swear there was like an 8 bar - rep thing, anyone ever got it?

U dont get banned for having a red bar..You only get banned if you break the rules and the staff infratcs you..>_>
