So after reading/seeing this:

You must be registered for see images

I was confused on why the hell Madara knew the seal for Edo Tensei, but then I read this:

You must be registered for see images

More specifically this:

You must be registered for see images

My thoughts go straight to, "Who would Madara need/ want to revive with the Edo Tensei?"

What's Madara's big plan?

I do believe that his plan is connected to "Tobi's" though. He probably started the idea.

"The Edo Tensei OF Madara" would mean that it's his Edo Tensei summon.

But, maybe it's a translation error.

This thread is terrible. Edo tensei is not a name for a zombie, it's a jutsu people..come on. Look at what Jugo said " You said you and Itachi stopped Kabuto's edo tensei." If "the edo tensei of madara" meant "the zombie version of madara", then "Kabuto's edo tensei" would mean kabuto was a zombie himself..

It means Kabuto's jutsu (edo tensei) is ended, Madara is using his jutsu(edo tensei) on himself to reanimate himself. That is why Sasuke was shocked and it is also why it is a forbidden jutsu.. Anyone who happens to know it in life can be reanimated and target the dead body they currently inhabit for edo tensei. I don't think edo tensei is some big plan of Madara's, it's not saying there is a person Madara is going to revive with edo tensei.. It's showing us the weakness of the jutsu, which would be losing control over the subject while they gain an infinite chakra supply.
