that is near impossible to dispute. However, could it be possible that Oro has sage mode now? That is to say, when Orochimaru relieved Kabuto of his chakra, could he have obtained sage mode as well?

It said that Kabuto's chakra was left alone and Orochimaru just took back his power. It's possible that he (Orochimaru) has sage mode now. I personally think that neither of them have the ability to access sage mode on their own and that Kabuto was able to do it because of Orochimaru's chakra. Unless he actually took some, or most, of Kabuto's chakra I doubt it.
Do you need me to further Elaborate? The fact that Orochimaru took back his power/chakra by releasing the Sennin Transformation, does not mean he has Sage Mode now.

1) Kabuto said that Orochimaru was aware of the technique and the hidden village where to learn it at.
2) We know that Orochimaru had known Juugo for years, and had been studying the source of his power.
3) We know that Orochimaru's cursed seal technique was derived from Juugo's senjutsu power, combined with Orochimaru's own senjutsu chakra (and, parts of his consciousness).
4) Kabuto said that either Orochimaru could not use sage mode, or he could not perfect the technique with his previous body. In either case, Kabuto claims he has perfected it to a higher level than Orochimaru had it. This MIGHT have been a case of Kabuto not knowing the truth. If Orochimaru had mastered the technique, Kabuto might not have known about it.
5) We know, from this chapter, that Orochimaru uses senjutsu chakra, and has used it for years. Anko was given the cursed seal years ago, before Sasuke had it, and her seal had senjutsu chakra in it from Orochimaru.
6) We know that Orochimaru has the dark areas around his eyes and the snake-like eyes that Kabuto gets when Kabuto enters sage mode. This might be a coincidence, because Orochimaru does have many other snake-related techniques which are NOT sage mode.
7) Similar to #6, we know that Orochimaru's eyes were similar to Kabuto's sage-mode eyes even when he was a child. It is unlikely that Orochimaru had sage mode when he was a child.
Exactly what Orochimaru had, and when he had it is open to speculation. There is plenty of evidence that he had some familiarity with the technique, even if he wasn't able to master it in his previous body.
