Now, I've been wanting to make this thread for a while. I didn't wanna make it for various reasons but I'm gonna release it now. To start off, let's look at the databook entry to refresh our minds;
I'm convinced that all his life Itachi was being held back due to this disease or condition that he had. In other words, I think Edo Itachi is a good representation of healthy Itachi bar regeneration and excluding the amount of Chakra that the Edo Tensei itself gave to him. I also think that Itachi has been held back by this disease of his rather than him having lower than average Chakra levels to begin with. Here's the basis for my reasoning;
Itachi himself said to Naruto that; (Bottom two panels)
I'm sure we all know that he couldn't use the Mangekyo Sharingan because this clone that Pain had created only accounted for (roughly) 30% of Itachi's Chakra.
This means that in order to use a Mangekyo technique it drains roughly 30% of your chakra. I'm guessing the amount of Chakra you need to use a MS technique for the EMS is different. Anyways, something I'd like to point out is that Itachi, when fighting Sasuke used;
Tsukuyomi: Once (30%)
Amaterasu: Twice (60%)
Susano'o: Maintained it on basic level, and full form for at least a few minutes or so.
Genjutsu: 2 or 3 times.
Fire Style: Once
This means that Itachi exhausted roughly about 90%+ Chakra that he had in that fight against Sasuke, not to mention that he also used a sealing Jutsu to seal his Amaterasu into Sasuke, which also could have accounted for a lot of his Chakra.
Another thing I'd like to point out is that Itachi, sick, and with bad eyesight, still managed to use in part one when he and Kisame attacked the village.
Tsukuyomi: Twice (60%) One on Kakashi, one on Sasuke
Amaterasu: Once (30%) to escape Jiraiya's toad mouth trap
He also used a C rank Genjutsu on Kurenai, and an exploding water clone which may have accounted for a small percentage of Itachi's Chakra.
You see, the point I'm trying to make here is that Itachi should have been able to (without his disease) use many more Mangekyo Techniques than normal. The fact that he was able to use all these techniques and more whilst being, blind, sick AND on the verge of death implies that if had been healthy all his life his Chakra Reserves would have been a lot higher. Also, Itachi managed to keep his three tomoe active all the time with minimal chakra drain on his chakra reserves also implies that a healthy Itachi would have had EVEN less of a drain on his Chakra levels. Even a sick, blind Itachi was capable of using 4 Mangekyo Techniques, without ANY rest in between, is an insane feat indeed, so it's logical to assume that a healthy and a well rested Itachi would surely have a lot more Chakra, and a larger Chakra pool.
Thanks for reading, and please discuss ^^
