"Mu" Pronunciation

How the hell do you pronounce "Mu"?
"Mew" like the Pokemon?
Or "Moo" like a damn cow?
If it's the latter I'm going to have to try not to treat Mu like a freaking joke.

moo like a cow but i still like calling him mew because with all the long exageratted names like ino yamanakaa, sasuke uchica, naruto uzamaki, minato namikaze, hiruzen sarutobi, and hashirama senju it seems kinda lame just like dan so to make it seem more spiced up i call him mew and because i dont wanna look like an idoit saying moo everytime i say his name lol imo

That is a good reason. Dan and Mu are probably the worst names in Naruto.

I don't think you'll look like an idiot for pronouncing his name correctly. I think it's worse to deliberately mispronounce it. It's like saying, "**** you Japanese language, I don't like the way you sound!".

I would agree with you if it was any other name in this or any other anime character. Mu is just an ridiculous name. Mu is a serious character with a not so serious name. At least to me.

I don't think Masashi Kishimoto or the Japanese people will care if I pronounce one name in Naruto incorrectly on purpose. I try to pronounce all names correctly. I even made a thread on how to pronounce "Kisame". However, "Moo" is the only exception I will make to pronouncing names correctly.
