Top 3 ~Actual Ninja~? - Not Overpowered Magician!

Ok so, Naruto has turned a lot into a load of magic and hocus pocus...
back in part one, these characters were actual ninja...i cant even remember the last time i saw an actual tactic or someone THROWING a kunai...

Obviously it takes planning and strategy to fight any battle - but i feel like its been majorly neglected for a very very long time!

so that brings the question...

Who is your top 3 favourite - actual ninja!

Most people (i hope) will agree with me saying that no.1 is:

I'd like to see you justify how any of the characters (except maybe ANBU) were ever "actual ninja". I hear this complaint a lot, but come on! It's like expecting One Piece to be about pirates.

Shikamaru's my favorite character, so I agree with you there. I also think Neji and Kakashi are great ninja.

Also, I finished attempting your avatar. Post in that thread if you want me to do anything differently. I'm happy to try.

Well from what I understand an overpowered magician to be, (some one not given any power ups (tailed beast, free eyes), and some one not born with a kekkei genkai/totta/eyes/special clan) This would leave Orochimaru, Jiriaya, Guy, konan, Kisame (although samehada is cheap), Hiruzen, Minato... Some else I guess.

well....thats kinda bias/LAME in a sense...your saying just because ppl like naruto/etc are OP'd they are not shinobi!? eww........!!!!! That is what the manga says a ninja is. A modern day version of a ninja is a spy. They do everything in the shadows. Although Itachi counts as an 'overpowered magician', his killing his whole clan from the shadows from to protect his village is something a actual shinobi would do. Therefore the only ones that actually apply to this is the ANBU really
