Do all rules apply to PM's?

I was wondering if All the forum rules apply to PM's, stuff like double posting, and curse words. Not the stuff like illegal activities and more serious offences, which i totally expect to be the same.

Are the rules specifically different, or is there no problem unless someone complains? :shrug:

you can if both parties agree as long as you are not insulting a thord party and double post is allowed on profiles

Double posting is not a matter in vm or pm, offensive or vulgar words reporting entirely depends on the user at the receiving end.

As for double posting, one can report you if you keep PMing him over and over again as it can be seen as harassment.
As for the rest of the rules, it needs to be reported first since the staff doesn't read every sent PM.

How do you mean "not private" does the sites privacy policy not cover them, are they regularly screened, or only inspected on request?

Well, global rules apply to pm aswell so you bet that the staff has an eye on you, thats why they can´t be called private.

Lmfao. The staff does have access to your PMs, that doesn't mean they spend their time looking into them. It's just a forum, man..

Yeah thats what i was thinking, having strict rules on PMs doesn't make sense unless there is a serious infringement of rules going on, and they cant find that out unless they look themselves which would take a lot of time and effort for very little payoff. Or if they only checked when something was reported as being wrong, which personally makes the most sense to me.

Yeah, i know it´s a forum, that´s why i´d rather not think about what i say in pm, if it were indeed private it would add a whole new dimension to this site.

More from previous experiences, haven´t been around that much especially now with it being summer and everything.
But you know, staff do stalk you depending on who you are.
But staff or not, i say one comment people may not like, look at my profile and there the same people viewing it so i have reason to believe i´m being stalked.O_O
