Why did it take so Lang for oro to get uchiha DNA?

Edit in title*long*Why? I mean to me I would think it would be easier to get uchiha DNA instead of senju wouldn't it? I mean he had to desecrate the first hokages grave but there was a whole uchiha clan massacre? He could have done what ever he wanted to do with at least one of the eyes or some blood or even a body ?

Exactly Orochimaru wanted the Uchiha Body too, cause like with Kakashi he can't use the Sharingan to his limits (Itachi's words) and Kakashi admitted it, that his stamina isn't good enough. But i think Itachi also meant the EMS (also the rinnegan, but itachi didn't mean that i gues).
And Orochimaru wanted the full power of the Uchiha Eye (with body) and DNA from the Senju to achieve a glince of the S06P's Powers.

But what would happen if he'd took an uzumaki body (senju descendant) and a sharingan.

Prolly he made a pact with Danzo, that's why he implanted those eyes on him as for himself, he always knew he can always have sasuke for his new body CMIIW

Nope all the uchiha we have seen are strong. If they had the whole clan alive there would be some not so strong ones.

Also remember not everyone can awaken the I believe mangekyou sharingan
