Yeah. I guess what's really sad is that he died being remembered as the voice for a minor Spongebob character.

This is really sad. I always saw Mermaid Man as the Andy Griffith of SB, and Don Knotts aka Barney as Barnicle Man. and Andy Griffith actually died recently, which stuck me hard. This doesn't as much, but it's still sad and attacks the childhood. R.I.P
