bullet proof glass isnt weak if they make it super thick and made it so it couldnt be seen could be an awsome assassination tech but it will never excist =(

Because glass doesn't suit Gaara's character. Think about it, Gaara whole battle style is built on the fact he has the ultimate defence. Glass is like the opposite of an ultimate defence it is brittle and easily broken.Sure glass could cut people but so can shuriken.

It certainly doesn't fit his character but i wouldn't say it was brittle and easily broken because technically you can get hyper dense glass or bulletproof glass, and Konan had paper and she did pretty well for herself.

Plus i loled hard at the tampon joke, he is okay, he just doesn't get that its a question thread not a theory.

it is accually a good idea and it could have its offensive and defensive properties but at the end of the day i dont think any new kekkei genkai type jutsus are going to be invented unfortunatly

I think he really likes wood because its basically making life from chakra, wich is just a weakened version of creating other forms of life like the SO6P

there was a filler could use the crystal element (it looked like amethyst), and the chemical make-up of amethyst is almost identical to glass. Glass can be created by lighting and earth (even in real life). Putting the atoms in a crystal lattice would involve shape manipulation, but doing something like that probably wouldn't be hard for a ninja in the naruto world.

Okay this was bugging me as soon as i saw Garra in the Anime.

If someone has awesome sand jutsu like he does, why would they not learn awesome fire moves so that they can use glass jutsu, or at least team up with someone who has awesome fire jutsu.

Wouldn't that be heaps awesome, making glass blades and showers of glass.

There is probably a good reason, but i dont know of any, let me know what you think.

To keep the Kekkei Tota scarce. Cause that would probably be:

Earth Release + Fire Release + Wind Release

It would require combining Lightning, Fire, and Sand in a specific order and also a step process, like with deidara clay . Lightning and sand to make the crystalline base and then Fire to heat and form the crystalline into glass which then you could manipulate!
