Nagato is pain.So they aren't two different people.

But nagato is stronger with the rinniegan so in essence,they are 2 different people. And im not taking anything away from either of them...but to say there is a ninja that can beat edo madara in his current state is absurd. Maybe a group of ninjas yeah...but 1 v 1....no way.

Nagato is easily one of strongest characters on the show a prime and fully functioning nagato wiped the floor with Naruto and bee sadly to put it his powers are really unique along with his large chakra reserves though as you saw more chakra and abilities does not make you the winner.As seen when Itachi maneuvered them to safety and sealed nagato.
Nagato is not over estimated it is the noobs stating he can beat anyone. news check the noobs say that in regards to anybody they like on the show.

I agree, but where there are fanboys, there is an overrated character. That goes for every character.

Lol...so true...but I try not to overrate characters unless im trolling for fun. One of my favorites,kakashi...im not gonna sit there and say hed kamui anyone and win,but I feel while he wont win I think hed give most of the top ninjas a run for thier money. Keyword: most.

Here is your greatest flaw. Nagato's weakness is combination attacks. We saw that during the Pain and Naruto's fight and we saw that again in the Bee, Naruto, Itachi fight. In that fight Naruto and Bee went in overconfident and to some point I think they were still joking around with nagato. All Naruto has to do is shoot a couple of rasenshurikens, the one-finger ones should be enough, and finish Nagato with tai-jutsuwhile he's absorbing the jutsus or repeling them. If Nagato stops any of his jutsus for a second, he's dead.

LOL this is the worst thread in Narutobase. I'm of hater of YOU and I didn't read . Naruto DID BEAT Nagato 2 TIMES. Are you to blind to see the 2 fights xd? Naruto will dominate Nagato. Naruto knows all his powers and everything AND Naruto has his nine tail transformation n tailed beast bomb

It was shown several times in Naruto that after absorbing a lot of chakra, the chakra can be used to build/replenish muscles. For example, Kisame looked emaciated here:

The Nagato that absorbed version 2 cloak was pretty strong considering he was being controlled, but imagine if Nagato absorbed a giant TBB or something of insane chakra quantities. I can imagine a stronger, more robust and more mobile Nagato after absorbing something like that. who knows though, i can be wrong. feel free to correct any mistakes. only a theory.

Kisame works differently to nagato, also, nagato probably has the largest chakra reserves of a non Nin-jin, and non SageO6P family.

TBB isn't regular Chakra...

The black and white chakra needs to be balanced at an 8:2 ratio respectively or it will backfire.

well there is a limit to absorbing chakra.

say nagato can have/absorb 10,000(unit) chakra at max,
but a bijju bomb throws 50,000 (unit) chakra.

so even after absorbing 10,000 (unit) chakra, 40,000 would damage it.

many people say, nagato can absorb bijju dama but they all are wrong.
never felt like correctng them, maybe some else would do the work

Unlike Kisame the chakra he absorbs cant be used by him

Look at the databook if you feel like doing some work and you will find the page where it says it can absorb a infinite amount of chakra
