Itachi cannot use his entire arsenal when he is in such a sick state. So many of the things you listed do not have to be taken into consideration. Sasuke remains more versatile. Also note, he cannot last the distance, unlike Sasuke who very well can. Yes Tsukuyomi is his main one shot jutsu.

Itachi cannot be the more versatile ninja in the given matchup if he cannot use all of his abilities. That goes without saying.

1.you need to be strong when you are talking on a powerful opponent.

2.you need to have the will not to give up even if you are losing the battle.

Also Itachi knows izanami and izanagi along with totsuka blade / yata mirrior etc..... An equivalent thread to the one you just made is current Naruto vs Jiraya... not fair what-so-ever, because of timeline and abilities.

When creating versus threads, people should consider what effect the opponents had on the challenger's abilities, and the story's timeline....

Genjutsu was useless agfainst danzou, because he could break it easily... But still he got ****ed by such a puny illusion made by sasuke...

And Tsukuyomi of Itachi is on an whole other level than any genjutsu sasuke ever used.

Im just saying: Just because sasuke has MS/EMS he is not immune to genjutsus. Even during their fight, Itachi trapped him with his normal illusion. Just for a short time, but during this time sasuke was vulnerable. Even if he said he can see through itachis illusions. actually he needed a little time to realize the genjutsu.


AND THAT IS THE STRENGHT OF GENJUTSU!

Tsukuyomi can deceive sasuke. AND when they fought, it worked pretty well until the moment where the curseseal interfered. Its true that Tsukuyomi is not a matchwinner against sasuke but it could last long enough to trick him.
