Im not saying EMS only stops blindless but the Manga doesn't say it gives them a new power, it says it gives them a new dojutsu (which is referring to the EMS). Read Itachi's conversation with Sasuke during there fight.

That doesn't necessarily mean they unlock new powers. Their MS techs may get a boost after gaining the EMS.

EMS grants its wielder more power, but there's no proof too suggest that it grants a new power. Going from MS to EMS is not the same as going from 3 Tomoe to MS.

There is more proof that it grants no new abilities than there is proof that it grants new abilities.
Proof that it grants new abilities - Zilch
Proof that it doesnt grant new abilities, just a power raise - Tons.

what is the point of kishimoto making eternal mangekyou sharingan if he doesn't want give a power up to it much like what is the different between the sharingan and manekyou sharingan the ms is far beyond of the sharingan in abilities and the ems is beyond the ms in abilities and that is the fact even itachi himself said when you get the ems your true uchiha powers will come out.
