i'm going to use sasuke for example. if a hyuuga was going to attack sasuke's susanoo right before impact he can make a black shield around his susanoo using amaterasu, if the hyuuga stops he could get crushed by susanoo and if he doesn't he burns to death

+ rep good thread. Some dont respect the Hyuuga because they only respect raw power. Compared to the rinnegan and sharingan its not as powerful. But anybody who knows anything about fighting knows its not all about power!!.When it comes to perception ,byakugan outclasses sharingan and rinnegan.If you think perception and powers of observation are useless in fights.You really dont know anything about fighting. The hyuuga are underated because like the other clans in the leaf they get no airtime .Because naruto is the star and sasuke is the co-starThe O.P. made great points about there ability already. A simple genjutsu and the Hyuga are done for. The byakugan has shown nothing that would lead someone to think it can break a sharingan genjutsu and nobody bar Guy has shown to be able fight by only looking at ones feet.

And as for them repelling amaterasu it isn't happening. Why? Because amaterasu appears exactly where the user is looking and thus doesn't give them enough time to set up their defense. Unless you're telling me all Hyuga's have speed and reactions on par with A? If so then just :flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw:

well i agree with ameterasu and tsukoyomi ( even for ameterasu they can't do it forever cuz they'll get exhausted after doing it several times while sasuke healthy itachi or madara can spam it )
but for susano'o it's not the same as kisame's water prison cuz the WP enter chakra into water to control the water what neji did was making a mess into the chakra system into the water thus annuling the jutsu but susano'o is pure chakra he can't do that to it
