There have been a few thread where we tried to discuss how Hashimara defeated Madaara given that Madaara has the perfect Susanoo. Well After re-reading the lattest chapter, I think Madaara did not have the perfect Susanoo when he fought Hashimara. Please take a look at the following spoiler.
In the lowest right corner, Madaara said, " It is said that anyone who has seen it dies". In fact, if I assume that the translation is correct, I can conclude that this the first time Madaara himself is seeing the perfect Susanoo. Given that Hashimara defeated him, if he had it back then, this statement would be useless and a bad writing from Kishi. Thus, I can say that Madaara knew that perfect Susanoo exists, but did not awaken it when he was alive. From this observation, the probability that Hashimara DNA is the source of Rinnegan, and maybe also perfect Susanoo is increasing. This seems even plausible since that Susanoo does not look like something average chakra can create.
Also, given that Madaara stated that only Hashimara could stop his perfect Susanoo, this observation revives the question of how powerful Hashimara was.
Please give your thoughts.
