Am I right in thinking EMS Sasuke would beat Itachi 9 times out of 10?

F*ck Sasuke, if it wasn't for Itachi, Sasuke wouldn't have the skills he has now. He wouldn't even have ems, he wouldn't have blaze release, he wouldn't have sussanno. Hell he wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Itachi. Itachi is far more skilled in every catagory except for blaze release. Take Itachi in his prime, like when he killed his whole entire clan, that Itachi would rape Sasuke with ems all day long.

So never mind the fact that Itachi had used 30% of his chakra to make a clone to fight the Konoha shinobi, and that he saw naruto and used some chakra then too. As for that last comment, how will Itachi win against Sasuke low difficulty if he had a hard time against Hebi Sasuke who was far inferior to MS Sasuke that held his own against the kages and beat Danzo. I agree that MS Itachi would beat MS mid-high difficulty if he is healthy but a sick Itachi can't beat MS Sasuke.

I would have to disagree with the OP Alot of the points are valid, however Itachi is smarter than sasuke by simple age and experience Sasuke is indeed smart, but comparing them is like comparing shikaku and konohamaru. Tbh yes sasuke is more powerful however when his intelligence is compared to itachi he just fails miserably. Im going to try to give an example i was playing ufc and first time online and barely played the game and was up against a guy with many thousands of points which obviously showed he was really good and when i played him he was using moves and clinches i had never seen he was dancing around me however i used my analytical side as some may say like itachi and found his weakness used a simple tactic next thing i know the guy is getting owned. My point happens to be its not just about what you have its about how you use it now i believe itachi could have alot less and still be a very strong ninja due to the fact he is so smart (thats just itachi lol)

But we have to take some consideration to account.

Ninjutsu: Despite them being equal, Sasuke has more variety of an arsenal. Here are the main ninjutsu they can use.

Sasuke's top 3:
Amaterasu/blaze relase
Kirin
Susanoo

Itachi:
Amaterasu
Susanoo

And Since Sasuke has ems susanoo (not perfect) and Itachi has ms with legendary weapons, they are equal.

Blaze release pawns amaterasu anyday, seeing how Sasuke is better at amaterasu anyway.

Push comes to shove, Sasuke can use kirin.

Taijutsu: Itachi may be better at taijutsu, but Sasuke is physically faster and has more stamina/chakra. They are the same speed. So Sasuke probably wins, even though it won't be easy. And Itachi has a pretty good chance also.

Genjutsu: is basically counted out, because Sasuke and Itachi can easily break out of Tsukyomi and it would be a pointless genjutsu war from then on. And Itachi would be winning yes, but would run out of chakra before Sasuke.

Intelligence: Sasuke is a genius too. But Itachi pawns him here.

Stamina/Chakra: This is the main thing that makes Sasuke win. Sasuke almost has half the chakra of Itachi+His own. Sasuke will win in the end because of this, probably.

Hand seals: Itachi wins this, but a lot of Sasuke's jutsus don't use hand seals anyway.

In the end, the only two things Sasuke really has to worry about is Izanami and Itachi's intelligence.

But, Itachi has to be cut two times to do it. And Sasuke with chidori katana might kill him before Izanami.

But yet again, Sasuke wins most likely with high diff. Itachi may win with extreme diff though.

unless i see more from sasuke itachi is still number #1.during the fight with kabuto itachi was the one who cause them to win. sasuke has done nothing that cause me to think he has the edge over itachi.

sasuke does have more stamina and charka not by a blow out but more than itachi but in a match with the sharingan it comes down to who is the better master.The sharingan is what makes an uchiha and Itachi knows all of the sharingan techniques and how/when to use them. Sasuke will pass itachi sometime in the future that is a fact but until then itachi is the best.

Yeah I think EMS Sasuke can beat sick Itachi with mid difficulty. EMS Sasuke can also beat healthy Itachi with high difficulty. Edo Itachi, however, would beat Sasuke high difficulty even if Sasuke could seal him.

I say this because genjutsu is not going to do anything in this battle. Even though Itachi is smarter than Sasuke, this battle would be similar to Kakashi VS Sasuke.

Now Sasuke has more flashy moves than Itachi. Not only can Itachi not put up susanoo for a longer period of time than Sasuke, he also does not have any techs that can get through Sasuke's susanoo. Sasuke, on the other hand, has kirin and enton which are more dangerous than any of Itachi's techs. Both bros will be forced to use amaterasu against each other which will be in Sasuke's favour since he can use kirin every other minute.

Kirin doesn't even require much chakra once it has been prepped so Itachi would be forced to drain lots of chakra only for it to benefit Sasuke.

I know for a fact that Itachi is superior to Sasuke in most categories but let's face it, it will come down to who is more powerful in the end and that is Sasuke.

Itachi is most effective when the enemy is unsuspecting but in this case, Sasuke knows everything about Itachi. I don't see how Sasuke will lose to Itachi unless Sasuke becomes too cocky and tries something very stupid.

I've noticed that now that Sasuke has EMS, his techniques drain less chakra and he doesn't suffer as much pain as before.

Saying all of this I would still put Itachi above Sasuke on a top 10 list because I believe Itachi has a better chance at beating other characters like Minato and Nagato then Sasuke.

@ bold. in the sasuke vs Itachi fight, Itachi's loss was already predetermined by Itachi himself. How would the series look if the person that's been getting chased the whole time diesU_U. We also don't know if Sasuke can maintain Susano'o longer, we havn't seen Itachi at 100% stamina. Also, Totsuka blade can break through the susano'o and seal it:shrug:. Kirin, will be usesless as ribcage susano'o blocked that. It's clearly not as powerful as it looks :shrug:.

What is the reason then?
Itachi is smarter, more skilled, faster, has a better usage of weapons and a better Taijutsu. Sasukes Genjutsus and Amaterasu won't work against Itachi as well and if we compare their Susanoo, Itachis has two unique weapons.

And yes, sick Itachi is not implied. But you take Sick Itachi's jutsu+izanami and than make him healthy.
