The Dark Side of Hashirama???

I have constantly been bothered by the idea that *maybe* Hashirama is not all so Godlike (the way he is made to look). Since we haven't been shown any character development for Hashi... all we keep hearing is "He's STRONG! Great Life Force! Wood Element! First Hokage!... etc". U_U

Madara is not an a$$. He sure has reasons for all that hatred towards Hashirama. Ok, competition is one thing, hatred is something too strong... I guess Hashi did something to fuel his hatred like that. "What did he do?" is my burning question. There is nothing in the Manga that I can use as a basis to clarify anything. :shrug:

Going by the Naruto trend, everybody has personality defects, their share of wrongs, mistakes... It's about time we learn some of Hashi's... If Hashi has a dark side xd I want to see it

Then Tobirama became the 2nd Hokage and that confirmed the Uchiha were being snuffed out of power

you might be right there... but didn't Madara fight Hashi before Tobirama became hokage? Actually what I am thinking is more on the lines of "Hashirama could have done something to dishonour his peace treaty with Uchihas"... something like that...

there are no clues in the plot right now... if someone notices something leading, it'd be a good find...

i only think as we seen somthings like madara getting out of edo like that , this is possible too

Madara constanly stood up against his Wood Style too... there shouldn't have been a problem in making him the first Hokage. Jealousy has it's place, Madara admires him too... but the way he says "...don't ever mention that shinobi's name in front of me" he's spitting hatred (*or maybe I'm seeing to much there...)

Some of u guys are forgetting that all the Uchiha clan members chose Hashirama and betrayed their leader, when Madara voiced his anger. That does mean that Hashirama was loved even among his enimies and rivals, it was just personal for Madara.

Not to mention the fact that Hashirama became the Hokage bcos people all the people over fire country loved and supported him.

he was in an era of war, he fought many times against enemies, i wouldn't be surprised if in the battle his blood lust got overhand and simply did something like razing several villages or killing innocents. Also i believe he may have tried to repay it be being as white as he could in his time as Hokage or something.

Example he was in a battle and he overreacted and killed several innocents, one of them maybe Madara's wife, Then when he realized what he done he tried fanatically to end all wars or something like that. i don't know that b ut i do know that no creature is pure white or pitch black.
