Didn't Madara's clones have the same capabilities as he did? It wasn't a shadow clone, but a wood clone, however.

I don't see why a Kage Bunshin would need to use Izanagi, but Izanami is a good strategy to use with Kage Bunshins. Well, I don't really know although Madara's wood clones have shown equal capabilities to Madara, if not less.

I'd think that if a clone uses Izanagi or Izanami, the original goes blind. as to why, it's because all experience from clones goes back to the original. normally the user takes no physical damage when their clones do, but this is different--it's going blind from using a technique so if the clone goes blind in it's left eye and disappears, the original will go blind in his left eye at that time.

Either that or a clone cannot use the tech on it's own.

Or perhaps if a clone was made, both the clone and the original could use the tech, like if there were 2 enemies, but the tech could only be active for half the amount of time it would normally be active since one clone splits everything in half. i think these are the 3 most likely scenarios, though i could be wrong

He did use Reaper Death Seal, but the technique was activated by his original body and then branched out to the clones as well

Ok i understand your point especially concerning the 1st case and i think it's most likely what could happen, but still not sure ^^

yeah i think the first scenario is likely, especially if its only the clone that uses the tech. i also think the third scenario could be likely, that both the clone and the original could use the tech but each could only keep active for half the time. so if for example it was itachi and he could use izanagi for 10 minutes but he had 2 very powerful enemies, he'd make a clone and they'd both use izanagi but they could each only use it for 5 minutes.
if clones can use it, this is just the way i see it happening...
