Theory concerning whether or not it is possible to seal away the chakra based susanoo.

Eight Trigrams Seal

This tech is used to seal large amounts of chakra (evil spirits, or powerful tailed beasts) into the target on the summoned throne.

The four trigrams must placed on both the receiving target (chakra being sealed into and the giving target(chakra being taken from).

This tech was used to seal yang karuma into naruto, karuma is pure living chakra, showing that this tech can be used to seal chakra, even the extraordinary kind like that of a tailed beast.

Susanoo is like a tailed beast, it is formed from amaterasu (in a sense yin i.e something from nothing) molded by tsukuyomi (yang i.e giving it form and life(susanoo seems as if it is alive).

The susanoo should be seal-able by Eight Trigrams, it ticks all the boxes.

Perfect susanoo chakra is unlikely to be as dense and abundant as the yang karuma chakra which was sealed into an infant uzumaki therefore most likely does not require great amounts of chakra to seal away.

It also will not return to it's form if the seal is broken as it does not have a conciseness of it's own.

It is also unlikely to break the seal as it loses form and cause when separated from it's user, meaning that it can be sealed into inanimate objects, such as scrolls as no chakra is required to suppress it's will.

I also thought the same thing and i've said it a lot of times in versus threads but it seems this technique is underrated in NB cuz everybody think Minato sealed Kyubi in Naruto with shiki fujin when it's not the case. He sealed him with 8trigram seals, the technique you're presenting

It should in fact be harder to seal tailed beasts than it would be to seal a mindless perfect susanoo.

Also recall that all forms of chakra absorption are fuinjutsu just as ETG is.

Preta can absorb susanoo, using a seal, eight trigrams should be able to.

The problem with this is that you would be sealing away the chakra, but not the source. when you seal a Bijuu you seal the chakra AND the source, Susano'o is a manifestation of the USERS chakra, and while i imagine this would result in the Susanoo user wasting a lot of chakra, i see no reason why it couldnt be re-manifested

Btw a person is only required to suppress the will of the tailed beast.

The seal can be placed on the susanoo which is then dragged into the object, the seal is not placed on the person but the chakra.

It makes sense since "the body" here can be yourself. You can play the role of the target and seal it inside of you. It's even basically what Kushina wanted to do with the Kyubi, but Minato refused that and wanted to do other way cuz of his plan. So it's possible, i think.

And if it can even seal the kyubi, i don't know why it can't seal Susanoo
