For Darui, his most commonly used words were "drab" and "apologies". Wouldn't it be more likely that someone's most commonly used word was an article like "the", or perhaps others such as "be", "to", and "of"?

Ignoring that oversight, when Darui figured out he couldn't say his most frequent word and he couldn't remain silent, why didn't he just start singing "My Humps" or some other mindless tune?

This sealing gourd is sh*t. It's not even a ninja tool.
Kishi must have been high when he wrote that chapter...

I don't think they have such articles in Japanese, but i am not too certain.
Also, keep in mind that Darui doesn't talk that much unless he is complaining... xd

Clearly you didn't read the thread. That's not what I was asking at all.

Agreed.

I looked it up out of curiosity, and apparently Japanese does have articles, but they are not always necessary for common speech ( ). They use understood articles, kind of like how English uses understood pronouns (i.e. "Do your chores"="You, do your chores").

Lol, when i first read that chapter i thought exactly what you are thinking. I am an english teacher and i thought "wow, in English anyone who said the words "the," "a," or "an" would get sucked in right away! However the point was brought up that the Japanese language is different and its true that compared to english it only uses a miniscule amount of articles, but still i seems like words such as "but" "the" "a/an" "it"--in both English and Japanese--are used way more than somebody's cathphrase would be used.
But oh well, perhaps the curse is meant to curse the word that is uniquely used a lot by the individual--like if Atsuhi or whatever his name is said the word HOT more than anyone else... then that would make perfect sense to me. though it'd also be funny cuz that'd mean Darui said "sorry" more than anyone else on the planet, Lol!

Honestly I was very disappointed with the treasures of the SO6P, the banana fan is the only one that lives up to expectations. The whole word thing is really lame... and it requires 3/5 of the tools.

Honestly! I felt extremely bored reading that. I agree with what the majority has said and I think that it is a tool that was poorly designed without any proper thought given to it.

Hmmm, for someone who is an "English Teacher", you sure made A LOT of grammar and spelling mistakes... Do I believe you? Probably not.

I noticed that too, but I didn't want to say anything...
