The Higgs' Boson has supposedly been discovered.

I didn't think such a discovered would take place in my life time. It's "supposedly" the Higgs Boson.

Jonny Higgs, a 43-year-old musician from Edinburgh, Scotland, said the scientific recognition would mean the world to his father, as “the highest accolade that you can get as a scientist”.

You remember a year ago when we were thinking neutrinos are faster than light, And it was just an error? This may happen with this boson.

Wait has it actually been confirmed yet? I saw it on the News yesterday, but it only seemed like they had evidence to prove it's existence.

Just like when they said Neutrinos could travel faster than light, it turned out it was just a problem in the system or some shit.

this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, it is expected that after spending so much money and time they will state that this is the higgs boson with the degree of certainty that they have, but it is still yet to be fully confirmed.

There's evidence of it, which is pretty exciting compared to no evidence at all, but it has yet to be confirmed whether the actual Higgs' Boson itself has been found yet.
