After reading the fight b/n silver & gold bros vs Darui ,
Raikage said those 2 are "distantly related" to So6P.

How come they are related to him without being Uchiha nor Senju?
First and foremost let's consider their chakra & stamina:they wielded 4 of
the treasured weapons of So6P, Darui only used the sealing gourd and the
seven star sword once and more than half of his chakra was taken.They used 3 of the weapons twice plus the banana fan and never complained about chakra.

Secondly their force of life which enabled them to stay in kurama's belly for 2 weeks.

Last but not the least their eye's,they have such strange eyes which is similar
to the eye's of the first son's and I doubt if they have any ocular powers
To the conclusion they are likely to be from the Uzumaki clan since Nagato
is said to have "awaken the rinnegan".

to answer your foremost question is because you do not need to be a uchiha or senju to be related to the sage
the senju and uchiha are clans that were formed eventually by the the two sons who are direct relatives whoah whoah slow your roll he had no daughter stop making stuff up and
for the last part the uzamaki is the clan the sage is from stop being coocoo for coco puffs nigga
