Hashirama DIDN'T fight against Perfect Susanoo?!?

Look what Madara said.

"It is said that anyone who has seen it dies".

Why would he say that if Hashirama fought against Perfect Susanoo and survived? Clearly this suggests Hashirama didn't fight against Madara's perfect Susanoo. Or, it suggests that Hashirama died at VOTE, which seems unlikely. Therefore, we must assume the former. Hashirama may not have been as strong as some people think.

Nope, reread the OP and think about what it is saying. Hashirama won the fight but not under the conditions some people think.

i think he means like the power, how overwhelming it is. like how people say "nobody lived to tell the tale"or....um, the first is dead so maybe they both died.we dont really know i still think (even tho madara kinda stated that they had a huge battle) that first hokage beat him with talk no justu.

Ive always said that controlling a tailed beast something like the 9 tails will limit madara's doujutsu powers because its that, that he is using to control the beast. Saying that what madara said doesnt necessarily mean that hashirama didnt face a complete susano. Hashirama died in battle most likely. The only person during his time that could challenge him was madara. I believe hashirama won the fight as the manga went, but died from his injuries. Therefore he did face a final susano, but died from his injuries later on. Also as its been said hashirama was a master medic yet after the fight with madara we saw that he was still very wounded and exhausted and in fact sill had battle injuries even after all his medic prowess.

That's an interesting thought. But I think Madara is abit more immediate than that, in the sense that people will die in the same battle as they face the perfect susanoo.

Why would Madara say out of his own mouth that Hashirama is the only one who can defeat him, when cleary he knew that Perfect Susanoo was a factor In that statement? Its a rather contradicting logic OP.

Well Madara didn't die at VOTE, but I do agree that it's possible that Hashirama used the Kyuubi against Madara. But some people think Hashirama fought PS with just Mokuton, which I don't think is true.
