There's only been 5... that's not very special... fairly sure in order of strength (not just physical, but overall skill with ninjutsu and such) it goes: First Hokage, Fourth Hokage, Third Hokage, Fifth Hokage, Second Hokage. (I only say Minato before Sarutobi because of what happened during the attack of the leaf village

Some of you cannot understand the concept of power scaling.

Some of you are saying that the first Hokage got stronger in shippuden, how can a dead character get stronger? it's just that the writer increased the power scaling which means if the third Hokage were to appear in shippuden he would get the same power boost.
