is the third hokage the strongest

at his age he was able to fight off two very powerful hokages and a sannin. He mastered many jutsus and was said to be the strongest. The third hokage was also pretty fast. (correct me if im wrong) His clones can use the rebirth death seal jutsu on anyone with out it affecting him. So wouldn't that make him kinda unstoppable?
