was the sage's eyes a product of him becoming the ten tails jinchuuriki?

Ive been curious about this, I dont know if its stated in the manga, but did the sage of 6 paths have the rinnegan at birth, did he awaken it, or was it a byproduct of becoming the junchuuriki of the ten tails?

If so, the manga PRETTY MUCH stated that naruto would become the junchuuriki of the ten tails, does this mean he will acquire rinnegan, or an eye similar to that?

Good question. I'd think he awakened it when he became aware of chakra, or awakened it randomly like Nagato. It was probably before he became the jinchuuriki though, or else he probably wouldn't have been strong enough to conquer the juubi without it.

Nah the Sage was a normal guy much like the ramen guy, he had a idea to fight the ten-taisl, some how seal it in his body, control but not before he decided to create the moon out of the Ten-Tails body.

The sage said they would all become one again and be led down the "right path", and the tailed beasts did say that they thought Naruto would be the one to do that, its just speculation based on what the manga stated

There is no proof he had rinnegan before becoming a jinchuriki. Rinnegan is an evolved sharingan and the Jubi has the same eyes. Why would the Sage's descendents have eyes that that look like the Jubi?

To answer your question Rikudo gained the Rinnegan as a byproduct of being the Jinchuriki of the Juubi. How??

1. If he had it since birth or before he fought the Juubi don't you think that he would have created ninjutsu long before he ever fought the Juubi?? With the Rinnegan Rikudo would have had more than enough chakra and potential to create any ninjutsu that he wanted.

2. Plus there is proof by how many other Jinchuriki have gained powers from their Bijuu, which is all of them.

3. I velieve that Rikudo was a Fuinjutsu Master and defeated the Juubi that way. That is the only way to explain how he knew and accomplished such a powerful SEALing technique to become the first Jinchuriki. Which makes me think that his clan was the Uzamaki Clan who were the most poweful Fuinjutsu Masters. Especially since all the people that were ever the Jinchuriki of the ost powerful Bijuu(Kurama) WAS ALL FROM the Uzamakai Clan..

wow, cant even argue with that logic...

However the fourth said that just the 9 tails chakra is "physically and conceptually impossible to seal together", Imagine what it would have taken to seal the ten tails chakra into himself? has that type of sealing technique been lost over time?
